D21 Health Center nurse practitioner honored with Advocate Health award

Dr. Erica Slack, nurse practitioner of the District 21 Health Center, was recently recognized with the 2026 FOR ALL Excellence in Clinical Care Award from Advocate Health.

Community Consolidated School District 21 is proud to announce that Dr. Erica Slack, nurse practitioner at the District 21 Health Center, has been recognized with the 2026 FOR ALL Excellence in Clinical Care Award from Advocate Health.

Presented at the nonprofit organization’s FOR ALL Conference, the award celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and make meaningful contributions to expanding access and opportunities for those they serve. Honorees are recognized for their commitment to driving positive change and fostering environments where all individuals can thrive.

Dr. Slack was selected for her visionary leadership, unwavering dedication to patient care, and her ongoing efforts to remove barriers that impact student and family access to healthcare. Her work at the District 21 Health Center has played a vital role in ensuring students receive high-quality, compassionate care that supports both their health and academic success.
