Library Helpers

Library helpers are exceptional students who help make our library the best it can be!

Fifth grade students are chosen based on their job application and the recommendation by their teachers.  Their work assignment is for 20 minutes at the end of the day, once a week. Being a LMC aide is great practice for future employment as well as gaining knowledge of a library and a work environment.

Library Helpers will help:

  • organize shelving carts • shelve books and keep them organized
  • maintain magazines and book displays • assist with library requests
  • care for computers • complete additional library jobs as needed
  • assist other students in the library • earn extra privileges

Library Helpers are responsible, helpful, intelligent, diligent workers, that are good listeners.

They are leaders and ambassadors of Robert Frost School and we are proud to have such hard working Falcons in the LMC!
